National Historical Museum, Boyana

The National Historical Museum of Boyana was created in 1975. Lately (in 2000), in in one of the wings (House No. 1) of Boyana Residence, the National Historical Museum was situated. The chronological scope of its exposition includes specimens from the most ancient to the newest history of Bulgaria, making it one of the most important national treasuries. Its halls, welcoming about 400 000 visitors per year, unique gold findings, brilliant artifacts from the end of the 2-1 millennium a. D. Are exposed: golden and silver treasures from Borovo, Letnitsa, Rogozen, etc. The museum has a marvelous park facing to Vitosha mountain.
