National Military History Museum

The National Military Historical Museum has 4 ha of exterior and 5 000 square meters of interior exposition area.

The exposition of the Museum is arranged according to a topical, chronological and collection plan. It exposes 28 000 exhibits of the one-million fund of this Museum. In its topical and chronological part, an emphasis is placed on the development of the Bulgarian Army and its participation in the national-union wars. The collection part of the exposition presents weapons, medals and uniforms: the three oldest and richest collections of the Museum.

On 5 July 2016, from 10:00 through 22:00  hours, the National Military Historical Museum shall celebrate its one hundred-year history by the Jubilee Exposition “The First 100” and Open-Door Day.
