ZUCCHERO, the idol of Italian blues, will give a recital on 15 November in Hall No. 1 of the National Palace of Culture. The real name of this singer is Adelmo Fornaciari.

ZUCCHERO began to demonstrate his musical talent since his childhood, when he made his first trials to play the organ at the local church in his native small town Roncocesi.

Pop-singer and composer, he performs with equal success different styles of music: blues, gospel, soul, rock and even funk. His most famous hits are “Baila Morena” and “Senza una donna”. He has made tours in the USA, Argentina, RSA, Malaysia and Japan.

He has sung duets with such star voices as Eric Clapton, Brian Adams, Paul Young, Sting and Luciano Pavarotti. One of the so many prizes he has won is “World’s Best Selling Italian Artist” and he has been the only European musician participating in the worldwide famous festival Woodstock in 1994.

“Unpredictable and Universal”, is what musical critics is saying about him. In an interview, he, joking with himself, shares his own opinion about himself: “My mood is not sugary at all.” The Bulgarian audience shall be able to enjoy some songs from his new album, as well as some of his evergreens.
